2024-2025 Offerings to Look Forward To

Wednesdays

On Site – Middle & Highschool A la Carte Courses

From Algebra to Literature, this day will feature a variety of courses that lean academic and will be exclusive to middle and highschool aged students giving them a space to learn together with an instructor to guide the way. Students must meet the age for 6th grade. We accept students from 6th to 12th grade.

Off Site – Adventure Club

A wonderful member of our group will be running an Adventure Club for all ages! You do not have to be enrolled in Trailside Classes to join. This adventure club will be geared towards elementary and early middle school ages – but in most cases will be enjoyable for all ages. Children must have a person in charge attending with them as these are family meet-ups and not drop-offs. Adventures will vary week to week – from park dates, to beach days at Cauble Park, to museum outings – Adventure club will allow families to explore, play, socialize, and meet new friends. Families pay a one time service fee to the facilitator and will then be able to participate in all meet-ups. There is no requirement to join every meet-up. When ticketed trips like museums, shows, or tours are arranged – the group facilitator will secure group pricing and additional ticket fees will apply to those who would like to be in attendance.

Thursdays

On Site – “Trailside Thursdays – A Re-vamped Social Unit Study Day

Trailside Thursdays are getting a make-over! This four hour day will begin at 11:00 am and conclude at 3:00 pm. Students will be grouped by ages and assigned to a facilitator. Each month students will deep dive and fully explore a new set theme tailored to their age group. (Think topics like Marine Biology, Agriculture, Culinary Studies for the older groups and topics like Weather Investigators, Fun on the Farm, Astronomy and more for the younger groups!) Groups will be available to ages 6 to 17. Chosen themes for each month will be released on February 9th.
