Trailside Thursdays – 2025-2026 Season

Looking for the perfect place for your homeschooler to build community, make friends and learn together?

This is a 4 hour once per week drop off from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays. If you are looking for warm and upbeat community for your student to build friendships, explore new topics, socialize, create, build, play, and work together with peers – and a dedicated and caring team leader – you’ve come to the right place! 

*New to 2025-2026’s season – Trailside Thursdays are now split into two separate semesters – a fall and a spring!*

Elementary Ages

Spring Semester

  • January: Friendship, Kindness, and Community Service
  • February: Transportation and Aviation
  • March: Gardening and Botany
  • April: Animals and their Habitats
  • May: Let’s Go to the Circus! 
Middle – Highschool Groups

Spring Semester

  • January: Mixed Media Art
  • February: Personal Finance and Money Management 
  • March: Agriculture and Farming
  • April: How Does it Work? How is it Made?
  • May: Game-schooling

Your student will gather routinely each week with a small group of peers for tons of hands-on fun, hands-on learning, and a lot of time for socialization too. Each student will be placed in a group with an instructor that will help guide the students through the hands-on unit study related activities.  

Students enrolled in Trailside Thursdays will also get to participate in beloved classroom traditions such as class parties, recess time, valentine’s exchanges, lunching together, and more. 

Calendar

This offering runs in both fall and spring semester. 

Each semester is $485. There is no additional supply fee. 

Students who attend fall’s semester will have priority registration for spring’s if they wish to continue in their group.

Times

This offering runs 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays. 

Ages

We have learning groups available from grades K-12. 

Pricing

Tuition for this program is $485 per semester. 

The full payment must be made by the first day of the program. 

We are able to arrange monthly payment plans, upon request to trailsidebookkeeping@gmail.com

Failure to fulfill payments or communicate with the program will result in removal from the program. 

Discounts

The cost of tuition per additional sibling is decreased down for to $435 for the second sibling, decreased down to $415 for third, and decreased down to $340 for any additional siblings thereafter or after. 

Registration

To register for spring semester, please contact as trailsidega@gmail.com and we’ll help guide the way! 

A $5 registration fee will apply. This helps to secure that spots are legitimately held. The fee caps at $50 per program year – and will not be charged after the threshold is reached. This fee helps us to provide events to the community like Halloween Parties, Spring Dances, Craft Fairs, Summer Kick-offs, and more.
