Who We Are
We are a local homeschool program with a focus on creating a positive, safe, and exciting learning environment for homeschoolers. We offer two a la carte days with a variety of both academic and enrichment offerings – as well as a 4 hour PBL day. We are a drop-off program – however families attending A la Carte are welcome to stay on campus while their child is attending a class if preferred.
At Trailside Academy, your child will have the opportunity to participate in close knit classroom communities, make lasting friendships, work with dedicated and patient instructors, learn through a hands-on approach, all while allowing plentiful time for exploration, play, creativity, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Beliefs
- We are a secular schooling environment that is inclusive and welcoming of all students and families from all backgrounds.
- We believe that every individual has different pacing and learning styles, and will work to accommodate your child’s learning needs.
- We do not believe in grades or formal tests. One of our primary focuses at Trailside is for our students to fully understand and grasp material in a comfortable and non-pressurized manner. Because of this, we are flexible in our plans and able to spend as much time needed on a subject to ensure understanding.

- We believe in your child! Our teachers will do their best to adapt to different learning styles, student interests, and promote individuality and creativity on a daily basis.
